IanJeanWelcome to Cycle Manali and a holiday challenge of a lifetime. Cycle  Manali is part of Trek India  - an established  company that promotes and  organises adventure activities in the Indian  Himalayas - and is based in  Naggar. Cycle Manali is Trek India's division that specialises in  cycle tours  in the region.

Cycle Manali is run by 2 Brits - Ian & Jean -  who hail from Pendle in Lancashire. We first came to the Manali area 20 years ago - when travelling around India on an Enfield - and fell in love with the place. Over a 6 years period we visited Manali several times each time finding it harder to leave. Anyway, 2 years ago we upped sticks from the UK and made our way to Manali and have spent the last 2 summers here.

We met the owner of Trek India - Chandan - 2 years ago and became firm friends. The idea of us working together was talked about then and has been a subject discussed many times between ourselves. Whilst in Goa we decided to make it a reality and formulated our plans - and Cycle Manali was born.

We have devised several tours, all of  which, will be memorable, rewarding and  challenging as you cycle with  altitude. Our aim is to offer you the opportunity of cycling at altitude through the  mountains and lush valleys of this untapped wilderness. The scenery  ranges  from lush green pastures filled with apple orchards and Deodor /  Pine forest  through to barren mountainous landscape.

At times you will feel that we are the  only people left in the world with the exception  of the occasional nomadic goat  herder and his flock, as we wind our way through the barren  landscape.  However the scenery and the experience is so unique but is definitely not for  the  faint hearted.

We also offer a number of one, two and three day cycle tours, and can also arrange bespoke tours that can be suited to an individual’s requirements.
